This new heated entrance flange can be retrofitted to UHV4 series systems with this upgrade kit. Because the heater is mounted on the vaccum side and permanently fixed in place, it allows the entrance capillary to be changed without removing the heater and in addition ensures reproducible alignment of the entrance capillary with the first skimmer aperture.
