Our M1 microscope attachment brings the electrospray plume of the UHV4 system into focus, allowing you to monitor the electrospray cone-jet during operation in order to optimise the spray conditions and the aligment with respect to the entrance capillary. Using the built-in metric graticule you can set the emitter-capillary distance to within 0.1 mm for reproducible experiments. The lightsource uses the latest ultra-bright LEDs and can be adjusted and clamped in position to provide the best view of the electrospray plume.
